FRONT DISC BRAKE FOR LAMBRETTA

Disc brakes for 175 TV SX200 and DL 200 models, which previously had pattern brakes, are now available. Moreover, they can also be mounted on LI model links, consequently offering tougher and safer braking power in line with present standars.

Those who want superior performance of their lambretta can use hydraulic disc brakes with a pump activated by a brake lever, which can be mounted on the scooter without modifying or welding brackets. The pump can be easily removed whenever your lambretta needs checking or servicing.

The hydraulic shock absorber is in a seat obtained by a proper fusion in alloy and it's held in position by circlips, as with mechanical commands.

To replace the pads the hydraulic slave can be removed without disconnecting the oil pipe, thus avoiding oil leaks.

The rotating parts are electronically balanced to provide a rotation without vibrations even at high speed (200 Km p h).

You will soon be able to buy a conversion kit for rear disc brakes which will allow you to brake both tyres using your feet.

However, you will still be able to operate using a lever situated on the handlebar in emergency.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

We use high-quality materials and appropriate treatments to produce safe and long lasting disc brakes.

Rotating parts are electronically balanced with technical certification.

For your own safety wheel hubs have sealed and lubricated FOR-LIFE bearings, so they don't need lubricating. During assembly or servicing lubricate with little grease the parts which are in contact with rubber seals, speedo gears and the brake lever.

Although these pads are high-quality products, they could be ground to make them better fit their seat.

Make sure that grease or lubricant do not come into contact with pads and discs because such contact could reduce or even nullify the braking effect of the wheel hub.
